Case Management

These services are offered to those with mental illness who are in need of ongoing support and guidance by helping them to access the community-based services they need.

Outpatient - Substance Abuse

Location: Main Campus

These services provide structured therapeutic and educational services to those individuals who are suffering from chemical dependency and/or abuse. The goals of the program are to improve our patients’ quality of life by promoting abstinence, reducing relapses, and facilitating integration into the community and workforce. Our treatment plans are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Vivitrol Injection is used to treat alcohol dependence. These patients must be able to abstain from alcohol in an outpatient setting prior to the initial injection. Vivitrol should be part of a comprehensive management program that includes psychosocial support.

Group therapy is offered during the day and evening hours. The sessions are one hour in length and clients attend either 1 – 2 times per week, depending on needs assessed.

Our CDIOP (Chemical Dependency Intensive OutPatient) is 3 hours per day for 3 days per week. This outpatient service allows clients to be in the community and continue employment but still get the supportive environment of treatment.

Outpatient - Supported Employment

Location: Main Campus

We provide opportunities for people with disabilities to work outside of the center-based programs and into the community, working for private corporations.

As employees of private corporations, our clients are earning competitive wages, paying taxes, and are becoming contributing members of the community. Their success is based upon the ongoing support services provided by the staff, and the cooperation of the employer.

Crisis Stabilization Unit

We are the Baker Act receiving facility for Osceola County. Our clients may come in on a voluntary status or on a Baker Act, an involuntary admission. Our Crisis Unit provides acute care services on a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week basis. We meet the needs of individuals who are experiencing acute crises.

28-Day Residential Program (Substance Abuse)

This is an intensive treatment for patients with substance addictions who are not in need of detoxification. This level of care provides a broad based psycho-educational environment on the cycle of addiction, relapse prevention, and the stages of change needed to maintain long term abstinence or recovery. In addition to the clinical services an emphasis will be placed on transitioning the patient back to the community and family life.

Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Programs

These programs are an intensive treatment approach developed as an alternative to inpatient treatment. They are short-term outpatient programs which provide support and treatment for adults facing mental health and/or substance abuse problems.

Accurate Clinical Trials

The Clinical Trials Unit provides specialized beds for clinical research. Clinical Trials offers the opportunity to participate in research for the development of new medication that will benefit those with mental illness. As part of the study, Accurate provides participants a complete diagnostic evaluation, study medications, medical and clinical management, and follow-up care at no cost to the participant.
